“With the recent surge in climbing related podcasts, I’ve been skeptical of the litany of newcomers. The Nugget is a resounding success, comparable in quality to the Enormocast, Power Company Climbing and the Runout. Steve brings a more youthful, but still seasoned approach to his creation. This is a nice balance compared to the hardened, but lovable curmudgeons of the previously listed. With a Northwestern US centricity it’s also refreshing to hear from a variety of new characters instead of prototypical pro climber redundancy. If you’re a core climber, this podcast will not disappoint.”
